About the Role
The US&C Commercial Operations & Enablement team is looking for a Commercial Training and Development Program Manager to manage and develop our continuous enablement programming. In this role, the individual will be working with team members of all tenures and levels to manage and deliver impactful training sessions designed to develop sales skills, improve productivity, and create a high-performance commercial culture.
The role offers the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the organization and work with stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing and Strategic Operations. You will primarily focus on standing up and facilitating existing training content with the opportunity to help develop new programs to address business priorities. An ideal candidate would be able to blend a background in training or education with a history of commercial success.
What You'll Do:
Your time will be predominately split between the following activities:
Training and Facilitation:
- Lead training sessions for our tenured commercial team members with an emphasis on upskilling and tooling
- Ensure that training programs are engaging and effective in driving performance improvements for all team members, ultimately leading to the successful achievement of commercial performance targets.
Program Management:
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with sales leadership to gather feedback on existing programs and identify ongoing training needs to drive sales performance further.
- Skill Development & Training: Design for organizational scalability in training programs for commercial teams & managers. This includes creating and maintaining eLearning, instructor-led courses, knowledge base articles, etc. Always be learner-first, ensuring that your programs are not only engaging but also drive measurable, lasting performance improvements.
- Analyze & Innovate: Analyze performance through quantitative and qualitative indicators to continue iterating on content to align with commercial goals and business objectives. Innovating and seeking opportunities to create best-in-class programs and training experiences.
- Tool and Content Management: Build resources and guides to optimize tool adoption and usage for commercial teams. Curating our Content Management System and Learning Management System to create a seamless user experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years' of professional work experience within Sales Enablement, Sales, Sales Training, Learning and Development, Operations or related fields
- Experience with sales training, including methodologies and sales enablement tools
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions to diverse audiences
- Strong project management and organization skills, including the ability to make inferences from quantitative and qualitative data sets to evaluate success and improve ongoing workstreams.
- Ability to lead by example in training sessions and pull from previous commercial experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a commercial people leader or senior team member
- Proficiency in building training curriculum
- Proficiency establishing performance objectives and analyzing the impact of work
- Preferred experience in tech or start-up environments

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$91,000 per year - USD$101,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
