Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at [hotel name]. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing our guests with a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive until they depart. You will also be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including check-in and check-out, managing reservations, and answering guest inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Check in and check out guests
- Booking and managing reservations
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel amenities, rates, and policies
- Provide information about the local area
- Process payments
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience
- Stocking of the hotel convenience market
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible schedules (including weekends, nights, holidays) to meet hotel/guest needs

Report to your supervisor or the MOD, immediately, all injuries occurring while on duty, no matter how minor. (Fraud, Dishonesty and False Statements regarding an injury will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.)
Act as a safety and security agent by identifying and reporting potential risks to guests and/or employees to the Manager or General Manager
Arrive to work on time (follow call-out policy), and in appropriate work attire, (uniform, foot wear and name tag) neat in appearance
Complete work in a timely manner and meets productivity standards/expectations
Seeks approval from management prior to working overtime (i.e. punching in early or staying beyond scheduled shift)
Keep work area clean, neat, and well organized
Demonstrate a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks (even if outside specific job duties)
