As a Nurse Practitioner in Medication Assisted Treatment, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with addiction issues. Your responsibility will encompass clinical and medication interventions aimed at promoting recovery and improving overall well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct assessments of patients presenting with opioid use disorder, including comprehensive medical history, physical examination, and psychological evaluation
- Utilize standardized screening tools and diagnostic criteria to accurately diagnose addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Handle and distribute controlled substances
- Function well during stressful situations to treat healthcare emergencies
- Delegate and administer workloads as needed by the team
- Follow all care regulations and standards
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient care possible
Requirements:
- Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required
- Possession of a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nevada.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple clinical tasks.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively (oral and written).
- Demonstrates professionalism, consideration and confidentiality toward all patients.
- Able to meet all credentialing requirements necessary to obtain required privileges of service.

- Monday 4:45am to 5pm
- Friday 4:45am to 5pm

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
