We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
**Duties:**
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create menus
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation activities
- Help in managing inventory control and ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support catering events and banquet functions
- Contribute to the training and development of kitchen staff
**Skills:**
- Strong leadership abilities to guide kitchen staff effectively
- Experience in catering, food service management, and dietary department operations
- Proficient in cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Ability to supervise kitchen operations efficiently
- Familiarity with banquet preparation and service
