WHO WE ARE
The Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) Initiative was spearheaded by a team of veterinary emergency and critical care specialists in 2010 with the goal of developing and disseminating the first true evidence-based veterinary cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidelines. The RECOVER Initiative has 3 goals:
- Guidelines: Develop and update evidence- and consensus-based veterinary CPR guidelines through exhaustive review of the primary CPR literature.
- Education: Provide the only standardized CPR training to veterinary professionals and pet owners offering CPR certification through the (ACVECC) and endorsed by the (VECCS).
- Research: Inform and support scientific research to improve our approach to CPR in animals.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To support our rapidly growing community of learners, RECOVER is looking for a talented and creative Marketing & Professional Events Manager. This is a part-time, salaried role that is 100% remote. We hope to be able to expand this role into a full-time role in 2025.
Responsibilities:
Manage Marketing & Communication Needs:
- Oversee all outgoing emails, newsletters, and communications to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote courses, events, and initiatives.
- Create and manage collateral for conferences, webinars, and other industry events.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency and alignment of the brand across all communication channels.
- Manage the development and maintenance of learning materials, ensuring they adhere to the established brand guidelines.
Manage RECOVER Conference Attendance & Speaker Engagements:
- Plan and coordinate the company's presence at conferences, trade shows, and events.
- Manage speaker engagements, including coordinating logistics, presentations, and materials.
- Ensure successful execution of on-site activities and timely follow up post conferences.
Rescuer Workshop Oversight & Processing:
- Manage the Rescuer Workshop submissions, including pre-workshop submissions, post-workshop submissions, surveys, certificate processing, simulator rentals, and invoicing.
- Support instructors with Rescuer workshop related needs and answer and direct questions as needed.
Website Content Management:
- Oversee the creation, updating, and optimization of website content to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of courses, events, and company information.
Intellectual Property Management:
- Safeguard and manage trademarks, intellectual property, and copyrights.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and changes to protect the company's assets.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably in the education or veterinary industry.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing professional events, including conferences, workshops, and exhibits.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and design software.
- Knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations.
- Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams/individuals.
- Positive, energized approach to challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
