Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of high-quality, baked, gluten free goods.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, etc
- Decorate and garnish baked goods as required
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.29 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
