IDT Software Engineer (Space Systems Sector) - Huntsville
Annual Salary: $75,000-$120,000

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is currently seeking multiple Software Engineers to join our team in support our rapidly growing engineering work for the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems (GWS) program.
The Software Engineer will work in an Agile team environment and perform software development and testing in support of the In-Flight Interceptor Communication Systems (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) and Phased Array IDT suite of products within the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems (GWS) program.
The work is performed at our customer site in Huntsville, AL.
Job Duties:

Writing code in Ada, C++ and Python
- Creating and running unit test
-
Developing software documentation
-
Performing test planning, monitoring, and execution of test activities

Reviewing and verifying system level and software level requirements
- Developing and executing automated software test cases in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

Collaborating with Stakeholders and Government customer

Working within an Agile team environment, to include Iteration Planning, Feature and Story development, Sprint Planning, and Iteration Retrospectives

Participating in demos for the team and program Sprint reviews
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM field with 0-5 years of experience.

Familiar with automated software requirements testing and analysis
- Familiar with Software Containerization and Orchestration
- Familiar with DevSecOps and Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
- Familiar with Software Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker)

Experience in UNIX/LINUZ Operating System

Experience with Ada C++/Java/ Software Development
- Understanding of Modeling and Simulation

Must hold a current active DoD Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab)
- Experience using Agile Project management tools (Jira/Confluence)

Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles

Experience developing Automation tools and test cases

Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems

Experience with automated software requirements testing and analysis
- Experience with Software Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker)

Familiar with DevSecOps, Jenkins, and continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
