The Dorset Inn Breakfast Cook
Great opportunity to utilize your skills and still be home at night..Wage is based on experience Our restaurants are looking for a Breakfast Cook to join our busy morning/afternoon teams. In this position, you will review the pre-set menu so that you understand the offerings, utilize a variety of cooking techniques, plate the food, and hand it off to a waiter. You must follow all instructions from the head chefs to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that customers are satisfied with their order. While a culinary arts degree is not essential, formal training is a plus.
Breakfast Cook Duties and Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients for the day
- Accept orders from the wait staff
- Prepare dishes in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Keep track of inventory
- Clean up your area after the shift and prep ingredients for the next day
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for hours at a time
- Cleanly person and area
- Must be able to read food tickets
