Purpose of the Position:
- Find and recruit qualified drivers to meet the company's needs.
Primary Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain a pool of skilled Independent Contractors and Freight Drivers.
- Attend job fairs and networking events to connect with potential drivers.
- Serve as a liaison between drivers and management, resolving issues.
- Implement effective recruiting strategies, tools, and processes.
- Manage the hiring process for new Independent Contractors: advertising, interviewing, background checks, and orientation.
- Communicate with sales and operations to understand the company's driver requirements.
- Complete all recruitment-related reports and attend relevant meetings.
Secondary Job Duties:
- Manage inventory of uniforms, badges, and equipment for Independent Contractors.
