General Summary
Serves as liaison between the Credit Union and its members. Responsible for performing account transactions, providing account information, opening new accounts, and handling Credit Union member’s needs in a professional and confidential manner.
Essential Functions
· Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Provide members with all the necessary account information.
· Represent the Credit Union to its members in a courteous and professional manner while providing prompt, efficient and accurate services.
· Perform routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan and VISA payments, transfers, check cashing, selling money orders and ordering member’s checks.
· Provide in-person and by telephone general and specific service-related information.
· Promote and cross-sell services offered by the Credit Union.
· Verify and balance cash drawer on a daily basis.
· Process member mail transactions.
· Research account deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments as needed.
· Assist members in balancing their accounts.
· Provide members with account status, including current balances and loan payoffs.
· Establish and change direct deposit and payroll deductions.
· Stay current on all products and services in order to accurately explain to new members.
· Keep abreast of all rules and regulations related to Credit Union products and services.
· Attend educational workshops, seminars, webinars and other training sessions as required.

Job Specifications
· Requires well-developed interpersonal skills essential for communicating information to Credit Union members.
· Work requires intermediate mathematical skills (calculation and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
· Requires basic computer skills necessary for data entry/retrieval. Microsoft Office knowledge.
These characteristics are normally acquired through completion of a high school education plus related work experience. College or higher education is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
