Education and/or Experience Preferred
· Minimum of one year work experience in a fine dining environment preferred.

Set and clean dining room tables before, during and after meal service; assist food servers with miscellaneous tasks.

Responsible for set up of expo line including spices, and garnishes. Focused on excellent food and plate presentations (for all breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes).
Job Tasks/Duties Regularly Performed
- To review the covers for the shift and prepare the runner area for the meal period.
- To ensure hygiene standards are kept to the highest level at all times, keep areas swept and tidy, organize and label fridges, sanitize all surface areas and endure they are clean for every shift.
- Make sure all dressings and dispensers are cleaned daily and switched out. Date and label these as well.
- Understand the menus and be aware of the food product that you are serving.
- Make sure the chef/supervisor walks through the station prior to service to observe that all mise en place is current and ready for service specs.
- Be able to understand the Expeditor role of ticket times and picking up food together so that hot foods stay hot and cold foods stay cold. Be able to call out tickets and be able to ask when food will be ready. Be able to communicate with the Chef.
- Complete clean-up/break-down of work area/tables. Reorganize and consolidate shelves and refrigerators after each shift.
- Maintain good communication between shifts (when replacement arrives) for continuity of work and consistency of product.
- Maintain a high degree of respect, teamwork, and discipline within the kitchen and other related areas.
- Report to work on time, in proper uniform, and well-groomed at all times.
- Comply with ENCC safety regulations, emergency procedures, and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Be flexible in accommodating guest requests.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of all recipes and other food preparation.
- Know all garnishes for all menu items and pass the test.
Licenses and Special Requirements
· Food safety certification.
Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment
· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
· Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
· Continuous repetitive motions.
· Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
