The Aircraft Parts and Procurement Specialist will coordinate with the Maintenance and Flight School Maintenance teams as well as outside vendors to ensure materials are ordered and processed in accordance with company policies and minimize operational interruptions. Maintain Charter and Flight School maintenance parts inventory in accordance with company polices and industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for ordering aircraft parts, components, and materials to support TransMedics Aviation

Oversee parts deliveries, including receiving, parts inspection, and checking-in parts to confirm orders are accurate and compliant with FAA standards.

Oversee in the compliance of FAA requirements for Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).
-
Maintain maintenance inventory records, files, invoices, and contracts.
-
Maintain warranty parts, records, storage, and returns.
-
Oversee shipping of materials, parts, and other needed items to outside areas as needed.
-
Manage inventory levels, label parts, and conduct monthly physical inventory audits before the period closes.

Create and implement strategies to ensure accuracy of parts inventory.

Maintain the parts storage area(s) and shipping/receiving area(s) in orderly fashion.

Ensure parts and tools are appropriately tagged, stored, and segregated accordingly.

Identify, classify, and handle all hazardous material shipments in accordance with company procedures and CFR regulations.

Oversee filing warranty claims as needed/necessary.

Travel to various locations in support of operational needs.

Routinely operate a forklift
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Minimum of 2 years of Warehouse/Inventory experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of Administrative, inventory or record keeping experience.

Prior aviation maintenance/aviation parts experience preferred.
-
Forklift experience, and qualifications preferred.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks.
-
Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.

Ability to source and order parts and materials for AOG and Scheduled maintenance events
-
Able to work diligently to manage and process all cores/RMA’s out of facility or in the field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Embraer Phenom 300

Experience with Bombardier CL350/3500
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass Twelve- Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP) Background Check

Comply with company drug and alcohol program (FAA/DOT Standards)
