Trading and Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
The Trading and Reporting Analyst position is responsible for trading and reporting functions. The Trading and Reporting Analyst position will require implementing back-office systems including the maintenance of third-party custodial and technology relationships. This position reports to the COO but will work with other employees and outside partners on a regular basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Trading and Reporting Analyst can expect to focus on the following areas:
Operations:
- Generate quarterly client reports and review with firm management
- Learn and train on technology platforms and enhancements as they occur
Trading and Reporting:
- Execute trades using Advyzon
- Develop and maintain investment models within Advyzon Trading Platform
- Collaborate with Advisors to create custom investment models tailored to client needs
- Analyze and address tax implications associated with trades
- Prepare and maintain monthly trade reports from Custodians
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Generate custom reports in Advyzon for Private/Alternative Investements
Requirements Qualifications:
- Series 65 or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 5 years operations management experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong project management skills—organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask and prioritize
- Good written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of basic personal finance concepts (like various IRAs and account types)
- Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm, as well as with clients. Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
- Self-starter who naturally takes initiative and works well without supervision Experience with various Portfolio Management Systems and custodial interfaces is preferred.
- Experience with Portfolio Management systems.
- Experience working with Private Investments, Alternative Investments and Accredited Investors
