Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders, including autism, chronic pain, and gender issues
- Conduct therapy sessions using various modalities such as dance therapy, art therapy, and clinical research-based interventions
- Assist in data collection and documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling and support to individuals with special education needs
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting
- Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities such as dance therapy, art therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Familiarity with data collection and coding procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
