Kootenai Health is in search of an amazing Inpatient Pharmacy Manger to join our team!
As the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager youwill work with the department director to set overall strategic plans, objectives and policies for the pharmacy. Maintain drug accountability and control processes, establish effective controlled drug surveillance, and ensure pharmacy operations comply with state/federal law and quality standards.
Your schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator to reduce risk and promote safe medication management practice
- Oversee and mentor 15-20 direct reports (pharmacists and Pharm Tech)
- Work with the department director to plan and execute budgeted expenditures; monitors budget performance for areas of responsibility
- Work with other departments and staff to ensure safe medication administration and management
Our Ideal candidate will possess:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree and 5 years’ experience, or a BS with Residency and 10 years’, or BS and 15 years’ experience required
- Master Science of Pharmacy Administration or Masters of Business Administration preferred
- Five years’ experience in Pharmacy Management in a hospital setting highly preferred
- Must be licensed and/or license eligible in the State of Idaho
