Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. We are an established practice since 1978, in a slightly rural family-oriented community 8 miles north of Walkertown/Kernersville and within 25-40 minutes commute of the three city Triad (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point). As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating oral health issues while ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Opportunity to learn ACLS, PALS, Medical Emergencies, IV Sedation, and Waveone Endodontics.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and x-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Collaborate with a team of dental professionals, including dental hygienists and dental assistants, to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education courses
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proven experience as a Dentist
- Proficient in performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals-may need training in molars) and crowns
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols
- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to provide quality patient care
- Knowledge of medical imaging (iCat available)techniques and interpretation
- Experience using Denticon or similar dental practice management software
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and recordkeeping
