JOB OVERVIEW
The Human Resource & Accounting Assistant supports a range of activities relevant to our HR and Accounting Departments, such as daily administrative duties, coordinating meetings, basic bookkeeping and other assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Accountants and other financial professionals with managing financial documents
- Organize bookkeeping processes of the company
- Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
- Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department
- Process payroll and any employee documentation for compensation and benefits
- Coordinate communication with new hires, public services, and current employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Good computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs
- Basic knowledge of California labor laws
- Experience in calendar management and coordinating meetings
- Previous experience in office administration or related field is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
