Job Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Professional with a passion for working with children and individuals in need of specialized care. The role of the Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS) entails providing Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitative Services to young individuals experiencing serious emotional disturbances, alongside their families.
- Services are administered in either the participant’s residence or suitable community locales.
- The QMHP-CS will implement case management and skills-based interventions aimed at enhancing the youth’s natural support systems and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.
- Accurate documentation of services, attendance at Wraparound Team meetings as necessary, and communication of participant progress to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority are among the responsibilities of the QMHP-CS.
- All services adhere to the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual, the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines, YPIC standards, and pertinent state and federal regulations governing service delivery.
- This position offers flexible work hours and presents an opportunity to offer behavioral health services to families within their localities.
- Main duties include teaching skills and delivering case management services.
Qualifications/ Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human services related fields, as stipulated by Texas Administrative Code.
- Prior experience in providing home and community-based services. CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification.
Proficiency in Spanish (Bi-Lingual) is preferred.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage are required for this position.
