Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in wine selection, pairing, and service to enhance our guests' dining experience.
Duties:
- Curate and manage the wine list to complement the menu offerings
- Provide wine recommendations and suggest pairings to guests
- Conduct wine tastings and educate staff on wine selections
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of wines
- Collaborate with chefs to create wine pairing menus
- Ensure wine service standards are met during service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in the food and beverage industry
- In-depth knowledge of various wines, regions, and vintages
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification from a recognized sommelier program is preferred
