Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our kitchen. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to providing high-quality food service to our customers. Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in the cooking and presentation of meals according to recipes and portion sizes - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service - Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies - Adhere to all dietary guidelines and restrictions for special diets or allergies - Assist with catering events as needed Experience: - Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques - Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Excellent communication and teamwork skills If you have a passion for the food industry, enjoy working in a kitchen environment, and have experience in meal preparation, we encourage you to apply for this position.
