Pay: $100,000 - $160,000 (+/-) annually (based on related experience) plus full benefits and a 9/80 schedule!

ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
Seeking an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Airframe Engineer or Senior Airframe Engineer.
So if you have at least 3 years of experience and meet all the basic requirements, then we would love to hear from you!
The ideal candidates with have experience in preliminary and detailed structural design, with a working knowledge of structural analysis. The company’s ongoing program is focused on the design, fabrication, and test of an advanced composite low-weight unmanned aircraft. The successful candidate will perform tasks in all phases of airframe design, analysis and test including:
- UAS Airframe Design (Including fuselage, wing, primary flight control surfaces and secondary structure such as landing gear / landing struts)
- Load-Path Determination
- Basic Structural Analysis
- Design for Manufacturing
- Supplier Management
- Knowledge of other UAS systems such as rotors and transmission design desired
BACKGROUND PROFILE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in airframe engineering.
- SolidWorks and/or CATIA design experience is required (5000+ hours). SolidWorks is a must.
- 3-D Solid modelling experience.
- Surfacing experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of Metallic and Composite Stress analysis.
- Familiarity with military structural qualification standards.
- BS or MS in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
