Trade & Logistics Operations Supervisor
We rely on timely and compliant trade and logistics support to run efficient distribution center operations that provide us with a competitive advantage in our business segments. Trade Compliance and transportation are key enablers in our strategic model, and we shape our distribution network around our delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate has strong influencing and analytical skills and must be exceptionally detail oriented.
Responsibilities
· Manage logistics support personnel and activities.
· Administer and negotiate annual transportation bid event.
· Ensure all imported products and self-filer customs brokerage processes comply with all applicable 19 CFR regulations.
· Determine, maintain, and audit Harmonized Tariff numbers and Schedule B numbers for new and current products.
· Country of origin determinations
· Ensure that company transactions are properly screened Denied Parties and Entities, restricted end-uses and diversions.
· Quote, book shipments, prepare shipping documents and manage record retention for exports.
· Monitor and evaluate global regulatory changes that impact compliance operations; inform management and implement changes to daily operations when appropriate.
· Derive business intelligence reporting needs and work with IT to support the creation.
· Manage relationships with freight forwarders and similar 3rd party providers.
· Training sales staff on company export procedure and policies
· Collaborate and cooperate with other Department Leaders
· Perform trade compliance activities as they pertain to BHC’s supply chain.
· Schedule truckload/container load deliveries to our locations
· Other tasks as assigned.
Skills
· 3+ years of relevant Trade Compliance knowledge with brokerage experience.
· Lean thinking ability. Able to transform operational environment
· Critical Thinker with effective problem-solving and communication skill
· Organized Multitasker
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
