Bethany Medical Clinic, established in 2012 Manhattan, is a growing and innovative multi-specialist practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to all patients. We provide comprehensive primary care, dermatology, endocrinology, nutrition services, and mental health services that drive unmatched quality, access, and patient experience across our locations. We are currently searching for a Practice Manager to help us deliver high-quality and compassionate care to New Yorkers specifically at our Columbus Circle location.
The Practice Manager plans, implements, and oversees the daily location operations ensuring compliance of company and regulatory agencies' established guidelines through on-site hands-on management of staff and facilities. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail oriented, and ready to get their hands dirty with a positive, problem solving mindset.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all the supervision of the medical administrative staff, including front desk and medical assistants.

Ensures patient flow is maintained throughout all areas of the site.

Ensures policies and procedures are followed as per established guidelines.

Addresses patient concerns for resolution.

Ensures referrals, lab draws, and other processes are functioning as per established guidelines.

Contact new patients for feedback or existing patients who are due for recall visits.

Ensures daily money collection and reconciliation.
-
Completes required monthly departmental reports as requested.
-
Maintains control of office and medical supplies as per established guidelines.

Oversees maintenance and repair of medical and office equipment along with the overall site.

Ensures all areas of the site are clean and organized.
-
Participates and ensures resolution of issues raised by staff.

Conducts employee performance evaluations along with hiring and disciplinary actions.

Performs duties of absent employees when situation so demands.

Responsible for monitoring operational metrics.

Ensures compliance with the external regulatory agencies.

Ensures productivity levels are sustained as established in guidelines.

Responsible for the oversight of provider working schedules.
-
Accountable for patient growth and retention.

Responsible for orientation, training, and counseling of employees when appropriate.

Responsible for appropriate staffing.
-
Responsible for the review and approval of payroll for respective employees.

Attends regularly scheduled meetings as required.

Other duties as needed and/or assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, management, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role preferred.

Can demonstrate a thorough understanding of the healthcare system to include finance, insurance, organizational policy and risk management.

Knowledge of the business end of healthcare administration and apply knowledge in managing the various areas of operation relative to organizational performance.

Ability to listen, write and effectively present information to upper management.

Professional demeanor, character, and recognizes the personal needs and priorities of staff in finding creative approaches for fostering teamwork.

Ability to encourage employees and other individuals to align their priorities with the organization's aspirations.

Ability to understand the organizational climate and use strategies for goal orientation and facilitating necessary change.

Required to have a command of the English language and be proficient with grammar, spelling and verbal skills to communicate with patients, providers, and staff in written and oral communication.

HOURS: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-6pm, Friday: 7:30am-4pm, Saturday: 9:30am-6pm.
