Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a flair for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and service
- Oversee kitchen operations, including managing staff, inventory, and budget
- Maintain food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute catering events
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food production, restaurant management, menu planning, and shift management
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
