The person in this role will be responsible for working with customers and technicians to fill parts requirements including but not limited manage parts operation including phone sales, service shop sales, and warehouse operations in support of technicians, customers and product needs.
Plan and manage overall parts functions within assigned organization to ensure maximum profitability for the company in providing service to service technicians, customers and enhance total sales for the company.
You will be responsible for stocking, locating, and providing parts to internal shop/field and external customers.
Answer parts sales calls
Maintain a professional and proper personal appearance at all times.
Monitor expenditures to ensure effective and efficient utilization of available personnel, fiscal, and capital resources.
Build and maintain a work environment characterized by high productivity and morale.
Establish and monitor parts department effectiveness, including job and performance standards and utilization.
Work on a continuing basis to improve parts department performance.
You are to check lube oil bulk levels in to order refill of tanks, including operate ladder and material handling equipment (i.e. forklift and pallet jack) to pull and transfer parts and components to designated areas for customer delivery or warehouse stocking in accordance with all prescribed safety standards.
You will responsible for all shop parts and core returns, and tracking all back-ordered parts for the Service Department. Back-order reporting to the Service Manager should be done on a daily basis and contain the shipping origin and anticipated arrival date. He/She will also perform warehouse duties for the Parts Department, when the need arises.
