Ideal Candidate:
- Motivated individual with leadership and management experience in the pre/post operative care at outpatient surgical centers
- Excellent communication skills to convey policies and procedures to staff and serving as a partner and liaison to other departments
- Act as a liaison for the unit and provides physicians, families, and ancillary departments with direction and/ or assistance
- Two year or more of experience of pre/post operative care with outpatient surgical patients
- One year or more of experience in a leadership role
Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily workflow, staffing, training and development of employees
- Promote and support a collaborative team approach in providing care
- Ensure that all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with the Center's mission, vision and values
- Assess, plan, evaluate and document the nursing process in the Pre and Post Surgery units as needed
- Ensure patient support through infection control processes, sterility assurance and product and instrument availability
- Act as a patient advocate
- Clinical work with a focus on leadership
- Regular leadership training and ongoing education with ample room for advancement
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a plus
- Formal infection control training is a plus
- Master of Science in Nursing or other advanced degree in healthcare, business or healthcare administration is a plus

Pay: $102,000.00 - $109,650.00 per year
