Our busy general dental practice is looking for a front desk team member. Our office focuses on maintaining a high level of respect in all that we do, from initial incoming phone call to the in person visit.
Proficiency with general computer skills and typing are needed, as the office is completely digital and accurate note taking is required.
Skills needed:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task, be task oriented and work under pressure
- Knowledge of computer application for charting, patient files and documents, insurance claims, etc.
- Knowledge of windows 11 computer navigation via 2 way digital communication for appointment confirmation as well as email and digital faxing
- Strong teamwork skills to help other team members when needed
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming patient calls, registering new patients, handling dental insurance claims, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory standards including OSHA, HIPPA and ADA regulations
- Ensures clinical and administrative information systems operate effectively
- Resolves patient complaints and monitors patient and staff satisfaction
- Manage day to day activity of clinic
- Keeping office space, treatment rooms and bathrooms properly cleaned and stocked with the necessary related items
- Tracking current inventory and placing orders of needed inventory
Experience:
- dental assisting or front office: 1 year (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration (Preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
