Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs and develop personalized diet plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and make adjustments to their diet plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal nutrition outcomes
- Provide guidance on tube feeding and manage enteral nutrition support for patients
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' nutritional status and develop appropriate interventions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience with tube feeding and enteral nutrition support is preferred
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques for assessing nutritional status
