Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am
Responsibilities & Main Activities (includes, but is not limited to):
- The Line Mechanic responsibility is to provide assistance to aerosol manufacturing production lines and perform maintenance on machines and equipment’s
- Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for safe performance of the work assignment
- Understand the cGMP compliances as it impacts production requirements
- Must be familiar with repair, preventative maintenance and daily support of the filling equipment, with specific focus on filling, crimping, aerosolizing, capping, and packaging of aerosol products. Ensure product changeovers are done according to the SOP and work order requirements
- Proficient in the use of all shop equipment’s to install, maintain and troubleshoots machinery and tooling
- Maintain work area, tools and shop equipment in a clean and functional manner
- Maintain preventative log books accurately and neatly
- Fabricate, assemble and test parts as needed
- Knowledge to support of the packaging of aerosol products
- Perform inspection of production parts and tooling for conformance to engineering blueprints and diagrams
- Ensures proper documentation and communication is completed in a timely and accurate fashion, performs other related duties as required
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Assist in PM related activities and support lead maintenance team to stay consistent with the PM schedule
- Work closely with maintenance team on maintaining critical parts inventory and if required help maintain parts inventory using the CMMS system
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years manufacturing plant experience, with background in the following areas;
- Operating High Speed Industrial Processing Equipment
- Maintaining Manufacturing Equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills focus on Mechanical Knowledge
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Materials
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Devices
- Effective verbal, listening, and communications skills
