The Master Teacher is seeking an Instructional Designer who is detail-oriented, creative, collaborative, and deadline-driven to join our growing team!
As an Instructional Designer, you will work closely with our eLearning content editors in designing and developing eLearning courses utilizing the ADDIE instructional design model and Pictory, our AI-based course creation platform. Our courses are taken by over 100,000 educators annually. You will have an impact in helping educators improve their practice and, in turn, make an impactful difference in their students’ lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging online courses, activities, and supplemental documents that enhance and optimize learning.
- Collaborating with our product development team to curate content that positively affects learner outcomes.
- Uploading courses and supplemental documents in our proprietary eLearning platform.
- Reviewing feedback from users and providing input to the content/course development roadmap.
- Improving performance, efficiency, and processes by suggesting upstream changes to deliver a refined final product.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience as an eLearning instructional designer or in a teaching role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts who have varying degrees of technical expertise, talents, and work styles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Premiere Pro (or similar program) and copy-editing is preferred but not required
