Adjunct Professor, Operations Management (Northeast Philadelphia Campus)
The School of Business and Technology is seeking applications from potential adjunct professors for Operations Management courses at Holy Family University. All employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching of courses in Operations Management
- Conduct face to face classroom instruction following the University’s academic standards and guidelines
- Facilitate active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of economic concepts
- Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion.
- Using the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes
- Utilizing advising software (CRM Advise) to alert student issues to support offices within the university
- Fall 2024 courses are scheduled for:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:15 to 10:15 AM
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30 to 11:30 AM
- Tuesday and Thursday from 4:45 to 6:15 PM
Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related discipline. Doctoral degree preferred.
- Expertise in teaching Operations Management.

Employees are required to successfully complete three different clearances, together known as the Child Protection Clearances: Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History (PATCH) through the Pennsylvania State Police; Pennsylvania Child Abuse History (PACA) through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services; FBI Criminal History Background Check.
