Position Summary: Will help and oversee specifically Day-to-Day operations as it relates to Tresco in conjunction and collaboration with the help of Rev-A-Shelf Operations Manager. This position will work with various departments including Quality, Shipping, Manufacturing, Lean, Warehouse, and Tresco office teams to help develop continuous improvement objectives, cost take-outs, operations efficiency, inventory management, lean objectives, and training for Tresco associates. Ultimately working alongside Rev-A-Shelf operations team to coordinate best practices and improvements specifically for Tresco.
Position responsibilities:
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
- Identify key performance indicators for Tresco operations and establish benchmarks to track improvements in these areas.
- Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of the business operations strategy in line with the overall operational objectives to achieve efficiency, quality and performance improvement and ensure achievement of strategic goals.
- Communicate with RAS Operation team to ensure Tresco growth objectives, inventory controls, and quality standards are implemented and achieved.
- Continually coach, direct and train employees utilizing Lean principles. Monitor employees' work performance and attitude and perform formal reviews as required by policy. Coach and counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job skill deficiencies.
- Manage purchasing and have a complete understanding of our inventory. Develop plans for slow moving, frequent out of stocks, MOQ, overstocked, spec required, storage and how orders are picked and packed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with RAS Lean department to implement principles in Tresco daily office functions to streamline quotations, order entry, warranty, return goods procedures, reporting, E10 data management processes that will allow these functions to operate efficiently.
- Coordinates with production staff to monitor production goals, establish clear standard work procedures, and prepare the transition to a skilled electrical manufacturing operation.
- Assist in the development of operational and capital budgets, policies and procedures, and the execution of same.

Essential skills and experience:
- Demonstrated track record exceeding targets goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with warehousing and production environments.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Epicor a plus.
- Insatiable intellectual curiosity- asking compelling and challenging questions.
Reporting to this position: Customer Service, Quality Engineer, Assistant Buyer
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; talk or hear; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone; reach with arms and hands; and stoop. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading. Light to moderate lifting up to 20 lbs. is required.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
