Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Do you want to help us build new things and evangelize use of AWS with customers?
As an Associate Solutions Architect Apprentice you will partner across AWS to help customers craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help customers use AWS within their organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.
If accepted, apprentices will be provided on the job training leading to an opportunity to join as an Associate Solutions Architect with Amazon Web Services. As an apprentice, you will have a unique opportunity to combine technical and hands on training with our team as you develop your skills. The 12 months on the job training consists of a combination of AWS internal training paired with shadow opportunities and industry recognized certifications. Clear benchmarks are set to justify compensation increases, conversions or termination.

Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
