JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Onboarding Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the effective project management to implement all new and existing business, along with implementing process solutions of all levels of complexity into Delta Dentals' systems and processes.The Customer Onboarding Project Manager is responsible for the effective project management to implement all new and existing business, along with implementing process solutions of all levels of complexity into Delta Dentals' systems and processes for the line of business.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as key partner to the line of business during customer onboarding: understands strategic goals, customer needs, and business objectives, and liaisons between the line of business and cross-functional partners

Plans, documents and executes all phases of the customer onboarding project lifecycle, including scope management, requirements management, work breakdown schedule and timeline management, priority and dependency management, and the assignment of roles and responsibilities to implementation partners

Leads implementation kickoff meetings with cross-functional partners

Leads and facilitates effective project meetings throughout the project lifecycle, including issue tracking, status reports, and executive communications

Acts as an advocate for both the business and the customer by providing first-class service through expert development of the project management discipline

Leads the project team on development efforts and ensures customer satisfaction through quality and timely product delivery

Lends subject matter expertise and knowledge management to the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including functional and technical, system-specific knowledge

Promotes change, process, and best practices to both the business and technical team members, providing training for the project management discipline
QUALIFICATIONS

2+ w/Bachelor's degree

2+ years of demonstrated experience leading onboarding projects required.

Ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Proficient in project planning and lifecycle development.

Ability to effectively identify and manage project risks.

Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.

Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

Demonstrated strong customer and service focus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate issues between internal and external clients and the development teams.
Licenses
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI. Pref'
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $69,999.72 - $146,600
