Highland Lodge is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher/Busser starting June 1st.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our food service establishment. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you. We are willing to train the right candidate and this is a great entry level position to get your foot in the door.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Clear tables and clean dining areas as needed
- Follow all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is great but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Skills:
- Knowledge of food service procedures and practices
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety guidelines
