Carpenter
Job Responsibilities:
The Carpenter must be a highly organized, detail oriented, and reliable individual that must oversee multiple projects.
- Improve bathroom tilings and other structural improvements throughout the year.
- Reconstruct and configure new chaperone rooms in existing cabins.
- Perform other property maintenance duties as assigned.
- Reconstruct and configure new chaperone rooms in Boy’s Quad Cabins by June 1st.
- Improve bathroom tilings and structures by June 1st.
- Create summer camp projects including, but not limited to, a basketball arcade, Trampoline Ball decking, fences, and carnival games by June 1st.
- Enhance decks, stages, stairs, and bleachers on buildings by June 1st.
- Update other structures as needed throughout the year.
- Construct cabins, sheds, buildings, or structures as needed throughout the year.
- Apply new sub-flooring and tile flooring where applicable.
- Work alongside the on-site maintenance team to improve lodgings.
- Renovate and remodel over 50 buildings as needed.
Desired qualifications:
- Four or more years of hands-on experience in carpentry, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and projects.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, exhibiting resilience, integrity, and the capacity to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills across verbal, written, and visual mediums, facilitating clear understanding and coordination on projects.
- A basic understanding of plumbing concepts is preferred, although not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
