Description:We are looking for a motivated Field Technical Service expert with experience within the Foundry Industry. The goal is to maximize customer commitment and grow our business by providing hands-on technical knowledge and support for the HA-International product lines.
As a member of the Technical Service team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the introduction of new and/or improved products through field trials.
- Troubleshooting existing products to resolve customer issues or complaints.
- Providing technology and offering recommendations to solve customer specific problems.
- Providing customer training classes to ensure proper and safe use of HAI product line.
- Preparing technical service reports and other communications for field activities, customer projects, and product improvements.
Location
Remote. Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky. This position will travel within a territory. Only candidates residing within the assigned territory will be considered (must reside in one of these states) .
Travel
Travel up to 80% of the time. Weekends and overnight stays may be required.

Requirements:
- Four-year degree required (technical or engineering preferred). Mechanical engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a technical role within the Foundry industry (excluding IT experience).
- Experience using lab equipment, analytical procedures, and statistical methods (related to company products, applications, etc).
- Experience writing technical reports (results of field tests, observations, etc.) .
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques to address product issues and customer applications (foundry related).
- Exceptional customer relations skills.
- Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Office 365.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, being around chemicals and fumes, standing or climbing while carrying heavy equipment (50-60 lbs.), and driving for extended periods. This role services heavy duty manufacturing equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to travel without restrictions which may include overnight stays and weekends.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
