Our boutique, Midtown Atlanta Personal Injury Firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a case load of pre-litigation and litigation files from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience litigating personal injury cases. The candidate will be responsible for writing demands, negotiating with insurance companies and defense counsel, drafting legal pleadings, writing and responding to motions, and attending court appearances. The candidate will be supported by a robust and competent team of seasoned paralegals and legal assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals. We are looking for a motivated individual who is organized and detail-oriented with excellent research and writing skills.
Client contact is a must, as is the expectation to provide a valuable client experience. The firm is aggressive about its growth and this is a real opportunity to earn bonus money and grow with the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Organize and maintain case files.
- Draft demands
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys
- Interview clients and witnesses to obtain information for legal proceedings.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
- Attend court hearings and depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Previous trial experience is preferred
- Base salary is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00, based on experience, plus rolling bonuses, based on performance
