Job Description: Repair Technician
Position Summary:
Americas Remanufacturing Company, known as ARC, is a division of Clover Environmental Solutions, a global leader in remanufacturing. As a Repair Technician , you play a vital role in our team, specializing in the diagnosis, repair, and harvest of high-value products such as kitchen appliances, home appliances, floor care items, cordless products, outdoor power equipment, and other consumer and industrial goods of mid to high complexity. In this dynamic role, you will work on a diverse range of products featuring mechanical, electronics, thermal, fluid, and combination systems. Operating in a one-piece flow environment, you are responsible for independently analyzing, diagnosing, disassembling, troubleshooting, assembling, and thoroughly testing each product from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Repairs: Independently execute repairs on three or more specific product categories within ARC's contracts by following provided work instructions and relevant documentation.
2. Tool Proficiency: Utilize both powered and manual hand tools that are all provided by ARC, along with soldering tools, for efficient and precise repairs. Handle the unpacking and packing of products with care.
3. Inventory Management: Exercise control over both physical and digital inventory within the technician work areas. Implement efficient processes for inventory allocation, movement, and tracking in the ERP system.
4. Component Swapping: Maintain precise control of physical identifiers while swapping components and accessories between units, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
5. Workspace organization: Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work area, contributing to a productive and hazard-free environment.
6. Documentation and Data Entry: Complete receipts, allocate parts, perform harvests, and conduct digital tests/upgrades on items using the ERP system.
Input data accurately using keyboards, barcode scanners, and cameras into the database system.
7. Single Piece and Production line: Collaborate within a workstation or a production line setting to seamlessly integrate repairs into the overall workflow.
8. Problem identification and Resolution: Identify and address electrical, electronic, fluid, thermal, and mechanical issues within appliances, ensuring the highest quality repairs.
9. Testing Procedure Development: Collaborate in developing testing requirements and procedures for work instructions based on unit specifications, contributing to continuous improvement and expansion into new product categories.
Qualifications
· Technical Skills: Proficient and versatile in operating power and hand tools, soldering tools, and simple diagnostics equipment (like a multimeter).
· Inventory Management/Digital Entry: Experience in handling inventory and utilizing select screens in an ERP-systems for data entry and lookups. Use of Keyboards and barcode scanners.
· Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
· Safety Conscious: Adherence to safety standards when operating potentially hazardous power equipment.
· Physical Aptitude: Capable of lifting 50lbs and carrying heavy objects, using pallet jacks
· Adaptability: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
