VNA of Albany is seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Liaison to join our team. As a Community Liaison, you will play a vital role in connecting our organization with the community, promoting our services, and building strong relationships. Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and increase awareness of our organization's mission and services
- Serve as a liaison between our organization and community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate and attend community events, meetings, and conferences to promote our programs and initiatives
- Conduct outreach activities to recruit volunteers, participants, or clients for our programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials, social media campaigns, and other communication tools
- Manage social media platforms to engage with the community, share relevant information, and respond to inquiries
- Supervise volunteers and provide guidance on their roles and responsibilities
- Assist in program development by gathering feedback from the community and identifying areas for improvement
- Deliver presentations or speeches at public events or meetings to raise awareness about our organization's work
Requirements:
- Must possess current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Preference will be given to those who have had, in addition to public health nursing, preparation and , or other specialties in an accredited hospital or who have had experience with discharge planning, liaison, or coordination activities with a health institution, or sales experience in health care.

$25.00 - $27.00 Hourly
Hours:
Monday - Friday
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
