Overview:
We are a consulting/bookkeeping firm with clients in a variety of industries seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit, financial auditing, regulatory reporting, and possess strong financial acumen. If you are detail-oriented, have expertise in debits and credits, and are proficient in QuickBooks, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee bookkeepers work on various clients and assist with management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Prepare financials review of cash flow, budgeting
- Prepare financial statements and reports for analysis
- Conduct forecasting and budgeting activities
- Cash flow analysis and reporting
- Implement accrual accounting principles
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
- Review work completed by bookkeepers for accuracy
- Expert in Excel
- Experience preparing monthly account schedules and reconciliations, including, but not limited to, prepaid expenses, other assets, accrued liabilities, other liabilities.
- Performs and assists with month-end close, records month-end accruals.
- Complicated Accrual Financial Reporting
- Reliable and Detail Oriented
- Self Starter
- Ability to work independently
- Can build and foster team work and communication
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in debits and credits
- Expert in QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills for financial auditing
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting standards
- Ability to perform accrual accounting tasks
- Experience as CPA/Enrolled Agent Preferred
