Speech Language Pathologist (Part Time or Per Diem)

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Rehabilitation Director to assess, develop, organize and implement individualized treatment plans using Speech Therapy (ST) procedures.
- Evaluate Residents' conditions for swallowing and/or cognitive deficits.
- Independently manage caseload, identify residents through screening processes, and scheduling individual or group treatments while meeting productivity standards.
- Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers on Speech Therapy techniques for continuation post-discharge.
- Adhere to PPS guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and billing procedures.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBS,FEES) as ordered by physician.
- Effectively communicate changes in residents' conditons as needed to IDT.
- Work collaboratively with others within the rehab and nursing departments to ensure optimal patient care.

- Knowledgeably adhere to Resident's Bill of Rights and promptly report grievances or complaints to appropriate supervisors.
- Assure resident abuse or neglect does not occur.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited SLP Program with CCC or in CFY, eligible for licensure.
- Prior experience in long-term care.
Compensation:
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
