JOB PURPOSE:
Contributes to profitable sales growth by completing operational processes
REPORTS TO: KEY PARTNERSHIPS:
General Manager SVG 3 – 5; Assistant Manager of Customer Experience SVG 1 & 2
Operations Supervisor, Sales Floor Supervisor, Inventory Accuracy Assistant, Sales Floor Assistant and Sales Floor Associates
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
- Greets and assists customers in finding products and delivers outstanding customer service
- Partners with other team members when additional support is needed
- Actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems
- Sets promotional price signs as instructed to communicate a clear and accurate pricing message to the customer
- Completes price changes accurately and on time in order to maximize sales
- Assists with the organization of the pricing and signing stockroom
- Door to Floor / RFID / Stock / Inventory
- Executes cycle counts and Stock Ledger updates as directed
- Supports Radio Frequency Identification process, including Shoe on Display activities, to maintain accurate inventory in-stocks
- Contributes to merchandise organization, recycles materials, and prepares not-for-retail items for returns
- Unloads the truck, prepares merchandise and assists with the placement of merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner per company guidance
- Participates in annual inventory preparation, auditing, and error correction activities
- Prepares Defective Merchandise to Transfer Out (DMTO) of the store along with other various shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Contributes to Omnichannel efforts including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, order delivery and returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving, sorting, and binning
- Supports company shrink and safety initiatives
- Meets established performance standards for the role on a consistent basis, including (but not limited to) product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance
