Join our team as a Clinical Chaplain!
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to join our team. The Chaplain will provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals in various settings, including hospitals, hospices, and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to patients, families, and staff
- Conduct religious services, prayers, and rituals as needed
- Offer crisis intervention and bereavement support
- Mentor individuals facing challenging circumstances
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address the holistic needs of individuals
- Educate on end-of-life issues and advance care planning
- Lead discussions on faith-related topics
- Organize and lead events such as memorial services
Experience:
- Experience in event planning and public speaking
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and management
- Ability to mentor individuals in need of spiritual guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to educate and present effectively
- Familiarity with hospice care practices
- Comfortable providing bereavement support
Qualifications:
Master's degree required; Theological or Healthcare care education preferred. Must have completed four units of CPE and be certified by a professional credentialing organization like; APC, NACC, NAJC, or other as approved by the Director of Spiritual Care.
Must be involved with a recognized faith group. Ecclesiastical endorsement required.
Equivalencies for the undergraduate and/or graduate level theological degree would be acceptable for faith traditions that do not offer degrees. Declaration and documentation of equivalencies are required.
Must attend at least 50 hours of annual continuing education as required by national certifying agency. Must attend CISM training at least every two years.

Pay: $22.44 - $34.27 per hour
