Living Health Integrative Medicine is looking for a highly motivated Nurse Practioner to join our Integrative Medicine WELLNESS TEAM. The experience you will gain with us will be invaluable. Qualifications include but not limited to:
- Great communication skills
- Active license Maryland license
- Active administrative and clinical role for the primary care team
Schedule:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform initial exams and re-exams
- Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic testing
- Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
- Perform procedures: Joint injections, trigger point injections
- Develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans in team setting
- Document and prepare patient notes and narratives
- Work cooperatively with medical assistants and other support staff
- Work as team with Functional medicine providers/nutritionists, Chiropractor, medical assistants, case managers and other support staff.
- Prescribe nutritional supplementation as part of medical programs
- Prescribe medications as needed for functional medicine programs (specific to our protocols, no replacing Primary Care)
- Oversee and Administer IV and/or push therapies
- Exercise prescription and follow-up
- Other protocols and procedures in the interest of Living Health, upcoming trends in holistic medicine and our patient needs. Helping to implement and work with team to create updated systems and protocols and future needs call for.
- Assist with patient education, talks and presentations specific to the treatments/procedures you provide.
