We provide our customers with simple, helpful advice to get the most from their technology, assistance to fix any technology issues they have, and protection of their devices to ensure they quickly get a replacement or repair if anything does go wrong.
Position Details:
The In-Store Associate will be responsible for guiding the customer through the entire UBREAKIFIX experience from start to finish and after. You will use a friendly, professional demeanor to build customer confidence and exceed expectations by making the store experience natural, engaging and reassuring, all with a sales attentive mindset. The In-Store Associate will also be responsible for back of house duties such as diagnostics, repairs, answering phone calls, maintaining a clean and organized work space, etc.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Create meaningful relationships and experiences with your customers
- Provide customers with recommendations for the best solution for their needs
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a way that is non-technical and simple to understand
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
- Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
- Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

Basic Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Work well in team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Wise Certification*
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
- Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
- Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles
- Previous experience working at retail electronics store
- Micro Soldering experience
Note: Wise Certification will be provided by UBREAKIFIX once hired
Interview Process:
As part of the interview, you will be asked to successfully repair 2 or more devices. You should feel comfortable tearing down and reassembling devices.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
