Role Overview:
As our Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing our culture of safety, overseeing the smooth running of our daily operations, and ensuring the effectiveness of our training programs. With a strong focus on safety protocols and best practices, you will lead our team to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership: Be the champion of our safety-first culture, ensuring all operations comply with regulatory and internal safety standards.
Operational Oversight: Supervise day-to-day operations, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and safety compliance.
Team Development: Equip our operations team with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools, focusing on safety and excellence in their roles.
Performance Management: Monitor and coach our operations team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Training Program Development: Create and implement safety training programs that align with our company’s objectives and promote employee growth.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, resource allocation, and process improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, upholding our company's ethical standards.
Position Requirements:
· Proven experience in safety or management, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce safety protocols and training programs.
· Familiarity with instructional design, learning objectives, and training evaluation.
· In-depth knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety best practices.
· Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Analytical, capable of identifying safety issues and providing effective solutions.
· Proficiency on Mac computers and in Microsoft Office and other relevant operational software.
· Resilience under pressure, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
· Ability to inspire, lead, and develop a diverse team.
