**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Patient Service Representative/Call Center Rep to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling or related fields. This position requires strong administrative skills and familiarity with medical terminology, along with a pleasant and positive attitude.
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities for Call Center include:
- Answer phone calls and text messages to schedule appointments
- Manage the clinic calendar.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage accurately
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities for Front Desk Patient Service Representative include:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
- Collect copayments and process payments for services rendered.
- Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents.
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Provide administrative support to medical staff
- Handle patient inquiries and phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in medical software is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and records management
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience as a dermatology receptionist is beneficial
