Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of childhood development, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers
- Conduct assessments to track students' progress
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Incorporate physical education and behavioral therapy techniques into daily activities
- Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on experiences
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices
- Strong understanding of curriculum development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Proficient in math concepts relevant to early childhood education
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones and appropriate educational activities
