ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The medical assistant will be responsible for bringing patients to rooms, beginning basic assessments, updating electronic health records. Medical assistants are responsible for patient care including wound care, suture removal, assisting physicians with minor, in-office surgical procedures, injections, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high volume atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate of Medical Assisting
- Requires knowledge of human anatomy
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical field
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Certified Orthopedic Tech
- Basic computer skills necessary: Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience with insurance a plus, but not necessary
